Sports massage is for sports people and non sports people alike. Treatments work on improving the quality of soft tissues in the body, to  increase blood supply, realign scar tissue and release tension in overworked tissues.

Sports massage helps in the initial management of injury, alongside appropriate exercise, in order to help you return to your desired sport and daily activities with an optimal level of function.

Each treatment is tailored to the individual client's physical needs or injuries.

About Lorraine

Lorraine received a distinction in Level 3 Sports Massage Therapy with ITEC in October 2016. Since then she has worked with distance runners and non athletes in massage and sports taping.

Lorraine graduated from University College Dublin in 2010 with a BSc in Health and Performance Science. She continued her masters in Paediatric Exercise and Health in 2010. During her masters she gained a Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instructing and volunteered in the community as a weight management leader for obese children and as an exercise leader for adults who were rehabilitating from a stroke. The insight into rehabilitation sparked her interest in Physiotherapy.

Lorraine spent the next 5 years working in management with Nike and Sweatshop running specialist retail stores where her passion for health and fitness grew around running. She gained a leadership in running fitness accreditation with Run England and has since lead large running groups of up to 100 people, offering advice to beginners and first time marathon runners. It was here she realised the importance of injury prevention and injury management in the rapidly growing sport.
